Submitting a shadow report to CERD

Join the NYC CERD Working Group!

HRP has coordinated over 30 NYC groups to contribute and submit a shadow report, Race Realities in NYC, to the CERD Committee. Please join the HRP Human Rights Forum and HRP CERD list-serve for updates on upcoming events and information on the working group and how to get involved in the shadow reporting process for CERD.

National Shadow Reporting Effort

HRP also worked with the US Human Rights Network in its coordination of a national CERD shadow report. Race Realities in NYC was also submitted as part of the national CERD shadow report. We encourage groups to participate. Please click here for a list of working groups for the national shadow report. The deadline for contributing to the national shadow report is fast approaching. Please see the CERD timeline for a general idea of dates for participating in different aspects of the process. July 24th -- HRP hosts a CERD Shadow Reporting Training in New York City.
